Default Any Help Grateful ( Transmission?)

Well Howdy folks, been awhile since I posted. Im at 156,145 miles and havent had many problems. My AC/ Compressor went out , but it was pretty easy to change. Anyhows, Here is my newest problem that has me baffled. I got home from a job yesterday and parked, There were no issues. This morning I went to leave and the shifter got stuck in neutral. Took a few minutes of working it to get it to move . Got going down the road everything seemed ok. Left the truck idling while i went into post office , when i came back same thing. Stuck in neutral. Once again worked it and worked got it going . It seems like second is a little tighter than the rest. I would say transmission but she shifted into all the gears fine no hesitation no higher RPM's . Could it be gear fork? Slave cylinder? any help mucho appreciated. Oh yeah Stats 2000 f150 ext cab 4.2 , 5 speed manual transmission.

She goes into gear fine when the truck is off though? Original slave? Clutch? Throw out bearings?

I dont know if this will help you any but i had a 99' ranger that did that and all i had to do was bleed the system. There should be a bleeder valve on it somewhere just like a break bleeder valve or a place to bleed it. After i done that to mine i had no more trouble out of it.

ok bled it off real good. Some grey goop came out at first then clear fluid. I repeated process 6 times, upon starting up same problem, just wont go into any gear without playing with it a bit. So Im back at the baffled stage.
