Yep just a new seal and a refill of gear oil and don't forget the friction modifier.

Don't drive it with a bad seal. Who knows if it'll get worse, u loose all yr fluid and shoot ur rear end. I blew a seal on the way home and in 5 miles it only had a little fluid left. I rebuilt the axle

Don't forget to pack your new seals with bearing grease. Also make sure u tap them in even. Just did mine last weekend. Piece of cake! good luck!

Redid mine too. New bearings and axle shafts too. New side gears and brakes too.

Do not pack the seals with bearing grease. Apply a light coating of gear oil on the seal before installing the axle shaft.

If the seal is leaking shouldn't you replace the bearing as well?
