Drip
I have a 2002 K/R F-150.
Over the last few days we have had some pretty good rain(s).
I have noticed a "drip" of water during the rain, at the bottom of the grab handle on the drivers side post.
The windshield was replaced about 3-4 years ago, and never had a leak until this week.
Am searching for ideas to stop the leak. Think the top of the windshield under the rubber may need some sealing??
I'm open for ideas.
Thanx

Ah yes. The drip is never a good thing. Professional reseal is your best option. They do make sealant you could try if you're short on cash.
If left untreated or incorrectly fixed it will start corroding your GEM module and/or fuse box. Expensive replacements compared to a reseal.

I am having a new windshield put in my wifes truck on Tuesday, so I am going to have them look at mine while they are here.
That's what their warranty is for isn't it? LOL

Safelite came today, and I had them look at my truck. As a suggestion, I ran some hot water down the drain hole area, and seen it come out under the truck.
I then ran about a 1/4 cup of Awesome down the line with hot water on both sides, and watched the water come out of both sides.
I am considering buying a small nozzled air hose blower, and blow down the drain holes.
Think this would be a good idea??
OH, I forgot to mention. On the drivers side top corner, they found a "lack" of sealant, so they figured THAT was the problem. ALSO, "under waranty", they said the only way to "fix a leak", was to remove AND replace the windshield. Which they did.
NOW, I have to have the strips put back on the windshields, and hopefully all is fine !!!!!!!!
