Default Rcx lift question

For the RCX lift that im looking at, it says its a 4-5" kit. does that mean that in order to get the full 5", you crank the torsion bars? Im looking for something that rides smoother than my current lift (torsion keys/shackles). I dont want a full 6" because I want to stick with 33" tires and i dont want it to look wierd with the smaller tires. Dont get me wrong, I would love to run 35's but I dont want to spend the money for new diff gears. I currently have 3.55's with the 4.6l motor (averaged almost 18mpg highway today even with 33's).

Anyway, just looking for some info on that kit (And dont say use the search button, I dont care. if you dont want to read my post, keep scrolling)

Thanks in advance

It is a 4" and you have to crank your tbars to get that extra inch. Get the smaller rear block and keep the front level and you will be ok.

From Rough country you can get a 4" or a 5" lift. The only difference is the 4" uses a 3" bock in the back, and the 5" uses a 4" block in the back. I'm on the 5" lift, I decided to get my CV's as close to straight as I can so I dropped it a bit.

I am on 35's by the way. Cranking the T-bars is completely up to you. Mine are as low as they will go, I just did about .25 of a turn so they bolt would have pressure on it and stay in.

Not related, but If you didnt change the speedo drive gear to fix the speedometer, I have some bad news for you. Youa rent actually getting the MPGs or travelling the speed you think you are.
