Just got a hold of a set of bfg at ko2's for a steal! 35/70/17
Now the question: RUB
If I crank my tbars to 24.25 and i gonna be high enough to avoid hitting anything when I turn? I have a 03 heritage with 265/75/17s so its a BIG jump!

Nope. I had 35x12.5R17's with just a T-bar crank. You will have to trim a bit (may not have to if the tires don't have a lot of tread). I trimmed a little bit but if I turned just the right amount on a bump it would rub. The ride sucked as well, and be prepared to have a lot less power.
You can see how close my tire was. If you are a 97/98 you could just take the lower black part of the bumper off and probably be fine. IDK about the 99+.
