im trying to find a lift for my truck but im having problems because its 2wd. the 4wheel parts place where i live said that they can make the rancho 4" kit work on a 2wd and they do it all the time with no problems, but on rancho's website it says that that lift won't work on a standard cab shortbed (like mine).
Soo my question is: why would that kit not work on my truck due to the standard cab and short wheel base??

i would tell the 4wheel parts place to go jump off a cliff!! the suspension on a 97-03 f150 4x4 and the suspension on a 97-03 f1502x4 are totally different!! and a lift would never work from one to another!!

^x2, if it did would lift companies put 2 seperate links for 2wd and 2wd? no. but since they dont fit thats why there is a 2wd lift and a 4wd lift. dont even try it.
