Default Radiators?

I'm having a hard time deciding which radiator to get..

I have a 1999 4.6 Auto 2wd Ext.

There are a couple different depths of radiators, rows, etc. Anyone know which one will fit, do they all?(A couple say they fit the 4.6) And whats the best? If you know a better site that will work to.

Thanks!

Have you noticed any difference? Think I should get another thermostat while I'm at it? Maybe a cooler one, truck is overheating because of leaking radiator. I'm assuming their are air pockets in the cooling system from that.

So I can get any core depth, and rows as long as it says it fits? Don't want to buy the wrong part

Run an OE temp t-stat, but a new one. ECM reads engine temp and adjusts timing & such based on the readings. I wouldn't want to mess with that. And the more rows you have in the radiator, the better job it does cooling. Gives the coolant a little more timing flowing between the fins. As long as the overall dimensions, spout locations & diameters, and mounts are the same, it will fit. Make sure you bleed it good post installation. You'll be fine.

Edit:: also be sure that its for an auto tranny with 3/8's fittings.

I love it. 2 row is the biggest they sell. And also has lifetime.

Although I have a 95 with a 302 I replaced my radiator last year with a brass and copper 4 row from Oreilly. In my climate, mountain west, the radiator does such a good job temp needle will drop a bit when thermostat opens. It would be great for hot climate or towing, it held about 3/4 of a gallon more coolant than the factory 2 row.

Where is the cheapest place I can get one? 1 or 2 core, I planning on 2 core since I'm going to turbo my truck but I'm getting a intercooler and Water/meth kit anyways
