Radiator
I have not towed with this truck til last week and it ran a little hot 3/4 up gauge. I know it has tow package installed by factory so I removed the plastic shroud off the top and the radiator is a 1" thick radiator. I think someone in the past replaced it and went cheap as they could. I have ordered the radiator for tow package it is 2 coil and 2 1/4" thick. Hope I do not have a problem getting it in. The one now has a plastic guard on side to take up the space.

The tanks for both radiators are the same size, as I recall. Therefore, use the same mounts. Shouldn't be an issue at all.

Bandt....you will find that most of the towing capable trucks, only have the one row radiator from the factory. I don't know why Ford feels that they are sufficient, but over time, they become a depository for all the bad crap in our systems. They tend to start blocking water flow. Going to the two row is the way to go when you have a heating problem that isn't headgasket, thermostat or similar cooling system related.

We've had this very discussion a couple times this year, and in both cases the new dual row radiators were the cat's meow. I hope that this fixes yours also.

Where is it leaking? Let me guess, the molded "T"?
