Default Quick question to all everybody running the 09+ emblems.
I really don't want the ones that say Fx4 attached on there or xlt and so on.. I've seen several people just running a plane F-150 badge on their trucks. Just curious if you guys are getting the tailgate emblems and shaving off the tabs, or if I'm just overlooking something on the standard door emblems?

Im pretty sure those are indeed the tailgate emblems sans tabs.

That's what I was thinking, that they had to be the tailgate emblems with sanded tabs. I would like to pick some up soon. Guess I'll just sand the tabs off.

They are not tailgate emblems. They are fender emblems off a 2013 Limited. All other models have the trim level on them, the Limiteds just say F-150.

Mine were stx badges. I just cut off the tab and filled in with epoxy. Sand and paint. Good to go.
