Default Questions about suspension.

Hey all, I'm about to replace my bearings/hubs and upper ball joints/control arms. Is there anything I should be warned about before I dive into this? Should I replace anything else (relatively cheap) while I've got it torn apart? Just got new tires and I don't want to wear them out prematurely. I'm not made of money. I just want to have a nice truck.

Thanks

-J-

Check and make sure all your tie rod ends are good and check your shocks.

I would replace the lower ball joints while you are at it if they are the stock ones. I just replaced my upper control arms, lower ball joints, and a cv shaft since the boot was ripped. Time consuming job to do it all and air tools are a must for the cv shaft. Just check everything over while you are down there.

Not a must but definitely makes the job nicer. Hope you got a big breaker bar.

I know for mine it helped a lot. It took soaking them with pb blaster, heating them up and an impact turned up to get my stubborn rusted Minnesota bolts out
