Default Questions about Master Cylinder

Hi all, I am a new owner to a 2002 f150 supercrew cab with 5.4. Cruise control does not work so did some research and checked under the hood, the recall has been done to it and have blue tag on it so got the part according to the blue tag. Got the part and tried to change it couple days ago, when I turned the sensor to get it out... it keeps on turning and turning never really moves up at all. It's like it has been stripped or something so does that mean I would need new master cylinder? It got really bad corrosion on it, is there a way to remove the sensor or do I need to get new master cylinder? Thanks!

It still does not work since I can't replace the sensor, I turn the sensor to get it out.... it keeps on turning and turning never move a bit up at all. So the old one still stuck in the master cylinder.

Where are you trying to turn it from? Blue or red?

Doesn't look to me like any of that crust is broken up though.

It's not broken up I can tell that for sure. He needs to get something to try and clean it off. But even then it will hard to get anything down in the groove
