Default questions on the 4.6 and 5.4 engines

Ok guys I am new to the Modular engins I am going to buy a 2000-2002 F-150 for my beater. Do all of the 4.6 and 5.4 have 3 valve heads and is the infamous two piece spark plugs included in these years?

nope u got the 2V there. the 3V didnt show up til '04 in the newer body style. and a common issue with the f150's are the oil adaptor gasket leaking.

and there not two peicse spark plugs there threaded in by a machine into the head that's what gives the heads the threads...and there only in by about four to five threads so if a plug fails or the coil fails it blows the plug out and you have to drill out the hole and heli-coil a new plug in

yea 3v started with the body style change,
and like stated above, the problem with our plugs is that they might get loose and shoot them self out of the head.

Nah, V10s were the ones with the blowing sparkplugs out. 5.4 3v engines like to eat plugs. What I mean by that is they break off in the head.
