question about drivers side tbar crank
Is it safe to tighten that bolt up and then crank the passenger side to level or should I leave some threads showing? not sure if its bad on the bar or key if you crank that all the way in. right now I have maybe about 1/8 in. of threads left and not sure if I should stop there or go all the way in with it for the extra bit of lift. Thank you!

Yeah im not sure ill get that height out of my stock keys though im at 23.25 with only a few threads left on the drivers side. another 1/8 inch of threads and the bolt will be tight. I just want to get whatever else I can if possible but not sure if I should turn that bolt all the way in

Being over cranked for to long will cause the bars to be tweaked. From the factory there is a average of 3/4" to 7/8" of thread below the adjuster block. So you saying theres about 1/8" of threads left tells me its been over cranked for a long time.. My truck had Readylift keys and 7700 torsion bars and with a winch mounted up front it only took about 2 ears before I noticed the torsion bars starting to sag and had to crank them up more to level the truck. Alittle over a year ago I had to have the keys cranked to the max just to reach 24" from the fender to the center of the hub. No I'm using Torsion bars from a Dmax and some specialty keys to dial in the correct amount of preload.

well I did do the first crank last summer which got me to 23.25 (not sure where it sat before the crank) and that's where I stopped because I was afraid of turning that bolt all the way in and it worked fine with my wheels and I thought it sat pretty level. now I have aftermarket wheels with a 0 offset and 285/75/17 and I have a slight rub so now im hoping to turn them up more as close to 24.25 as possible but not sure if that's a good idea
