With a hammer, a cold chisel or punch, pr of pliers, and a block of wood, you can probably figure something out.

I never thought about using a punch. That's a good idea!

The back of the seat doesn't fold down. You need to press in near the top and pull up at the same time. (It can help to have someone on each end, but it's certainly not necessary) YouTube may be your friend if you don't have someone to show you.

Black straps are for car seats just kneel in the middle, put one hand on the bottom of the seat back and another on the top... give it a tug and it should come straight up. You will see how it works as you take it out. If you are struggling YouTube is your friend... if you want to put an amp back there it needs to be small. I have my amp located in the center of my seat back and another usher built a box back there for his.

Thanks for the replies, I will do some more searching but the info you guys provided looks good. Not sure I will get a chance before x-mas we will just need to figure out as we go. Going to try and step back and let him do the install with help from me when needed. Hard to step back when I have done some of this stuff when I was younger. I think it will be a good project for him.

Thanks for all the help and links also

The install has started, we have stuff scattered in the garage. Looks like we are going behind the seat. I think we will need to cut two of the support wires on the back of the seat. I think it will be fine, he only carries passengers once in a great while. We need to cut the two wires to have more room for the amp.

Any reason not to bolt this board to the back of truck, I think I can get a bolt run thru like a stud sticking out with a nut on it. Put some silicon on the bolt / washer running from the outside in. Then we would just have tow studs sticking out where the board would mount. Easy on / off with the board if needed. I think this would work but want opinions.

My amp is bolted to the back of the truck behind the seat with rubber washers (for squeaking) and some self tapping screws.

I saw no need to ever remove my amp mount, so it is stuck in place with adhesive. I also see no reason to drill holes in the back wall of the cab, and would suggest you do the same (i.e. use silicone-based adhesive). If you decide to remove the amp if/when selling the truck, leaving the board behind would be no big deal.

I'd suggest while you're at it, to add some sound-deadener to the back wall (at a minimum).
THIS THIS
is the stuff I used, and here's why:
