Default Product Opinion

I have kind of a rough shift between 1st/2nd gear on my '98 w/auto tranny. I am considering the http://www.jegs.com/i/B%26amp%3BM/130/40266/10002/-1 . It's the B&M Shift Improver, model 40266. 1) should this smooth out the shift and 2) the product description says only hand tools required. Is this something I can do from my back, or am I going to need to drop the transmission?

Any opinions/assistance is greatly appreciated.

It says that its not necessary for a tranny drop, so you're good. As far as anyone using it before, well... first time I've heard of it, so no one I really can direct you to.

The weather is supposed to be nice the rest of the week and throughout the weekend. Unless someone knows of a good reason not to, I'll pick up the kit and install it, and if anyone is interested, post results noted for future forum search reference.
