Planehauler

I pulled quickly into the traffic lane, slipped transmission into reverse, and backed into a driveway. I may have still been moving slightly forward when I goosed it to change directions. This was on snowpacked road surface. One of the rear wheels locked up. I put it back in drive. Drove about 20 miles, then backed into the driveway again. It backed freely for about 10 feet, then locked up again. Anybody experience anything like this? I did put new bearings and outside seals in approx 10 months ago, but no problems until this. Any ideas?
