I can't believe what you guys paid for your trucks... I paid $2500 for my 98 scab 2wd 4 years ago and $500 for my 97 scab 4x4 a few weeks ago

Here's my 2000 XLT the day I bought it back in Feb 2000. Sold it in 2005 with 60k on the clock and went truckless until I picked up my 2013 earlier this year. I really liked that truck and the color, too bad they don't offer it in the current trucks.

No offense but paying $500 for a 4x4 truck means it's probably not on par with the rest the trucks that we spend so much on. When looking or a super cab 4x4 of our gen I would expect to pay at the minimum of $6,000 and I know someone that bought one with about 140,000 miles, completely stock for $9,300. I paid $7,500 for mine with 143,000 on it.

The 4x4 was trashed inside lol literally the trash was even with the seats... I bought it for the frame and running gear but for less than 3000 I have a 98 4x4 scab now. The 2wd was a bank repo I bought as a backup vehicle that was burritod out (if you catch my drift)

Plus that leaves me a lot more $$$ to make mine look more like yours... Did you ever get a new lift block?

I payed 300 for mine then an extra 5-700 on all the replacements and extras then 900 on tires. So I have a max of 1900 spent on my truck. Only major thing that was wrong when I got it wer spark plugs, tore cv boot, and the fuel pump.
