pinion gear wont come out

I have a 2001 ford f150 5.4 4x4 and the bearing went out and I cant get the pinion gear to come out I've hit it with.a hammer I've heated it up still nothing can someone help me

Rear yoke off? Pinion nut removed? Sorry gotta ask, I've seen too many rookie mechanics around lately...
Once they are all off, pull off the diff cover, pull out the carrier and ring gear and start beating on the pinion shaft with a brass hammer or heavy dead blow. It'll pop and come flying out the back.
