not enough rain would get in them to cause any harm. unless you have it sitting for like months and months with TONS of rain, i wouldnt worry about it. the heat will evaporate any water in there. I dont think it would be something to worry about.

when it rains it would collect in the bottom when you start the truck a geyser lol
in a diesel it is alot messier when it rains

haha yea. but i doubt he would have to worry about it. if you are, you could put the flip tops on them. haha i actually think those look sort of cool while your at idle and they flip up and down.

ok this is how it is ran, the y pipe after the cat is cut off and there is now 2.5 inch pipe ran back from EACH cat to the y pipe on the stacks, there is an adapter that goes from 2.5 to 5 inch , then there is an adapter that connects the 5 inch y pipe to my 8 inch stacks, and no the water does not bother anything the exhaust and heat take care of that

stacks belong on Semi's not on pickups of any size. to solve the rain issue, you can drill a small 1/8" hole at the y pipe and the water will run out and it will be ok, or you can go with flappers. gears and axles are deffinetally next on your lift. that poor front axle must be screaming with 150 lb tires on there. you can prolly find a junkyard Dana 44 and move the mounts and have a solid front axle just fine.
