I don't know about these trucks specifically, but I've seen it with me own eyes elsewhere.

 

I know the SBF likes pulling oil, especially under boost.

That PVC setup in the pic in post one is different than either of mine are. Mine is this one (best price you'll find, BTW):

 

Yeah mine has a line going up towards the throttle body which is why I had to order the one like the picture in my original post. I just assumed purchase the whole thing to get fresh lines everywhere here, but hindsight I probably should've just replaced the plastic part I broke. Live and learn.

That one has the older type original fitting at the firewall. The 98 also used that elbow originally (the 90). The updated variation fits just as well. They stretched out the 90 for more horse power, -
