Default Painting the grill on 02 f150 over the weekend project

My grill was faded and needed painting. The previous owner had some kind of black rubber spray on it and looked like a pain to remove. My factory grill looked like this one (not my pic)

I looked at al that rubber spray that was peeling and thought of the time so I headed to a local junkyard thats less than 1/2 a mile from home. While walking through the field I noticed a honeycomb grill. The part around the headlight was broken but the honeycomb insert was nice and the ford emblem was in good shape. I called into the office and told them what i found. They told me $10. So I took it home popped out the honeycomb insert. Sprayed it with some degreaser, pressure washed it to get off all that old red dust from the junkyard. Sprayed it with some Matte Black paint for plastics. Looks pretty good. Although the matte black came out a little glossier than I had imagined it.

Looks awesome. Hit your bumper plastics with "wipe-new" and the truck would look like it just rolled off the showroom.
