This tag has the correct paint color number from Ford. Using this number you can find a close match from an auto store (Dupli-color comes to mind). Depending on how faded your paint is, it will come close to the body color. You will still have to color sand and clear coat the final product. I tried the paint on an area that I did not care about (rocker panel) to see if it would match. I thought the match on my truck was good enough and I use this method on areas that I am not overly concerned with, but the door that I mentioned did not look good and I had to have it done by a pro. I guess it comes down to how picky you are. Hope this helps, good luck.
Saw some dupli-color today and it looks pretty close. I think I'll go for it.

Best price I was able to find around here was $200....that's more than I paid for the hard top.

I would advise against using spray paint. Call some more body shops. Even the most shady, back yard run body shop job will look 10 times better than spray paint. Maybe call the shop that gave you the price for $200 and ask them if they will do it for $150 cash.

Try going to your local high school to see if they offer body shop and if they do all you pay for is supplies.
