Isn't that the code for the exhaust pressure for the DPFE? Check the hoses to the sensor...it's on the driver side...two rubber hoses coming up from the exhaust manifold to the DPFE sensor. One probably has a hole in it.

P1405 is the code for the upstream vacuum hose (bigger of the two on some models) on the DPFE sensor. It specifies the upstream side of the sensor hose. Most likely a break or hole in the hose, sucking air, causing the code. You can possibly spray the hose down and find the leak, if you use a good carb cleaner like Berryman or JB. NO Gunk, Gumout, etc. They are not good for testing. You could also just replace the 2 short hoses if you have questions. That would be a simple repair if all it is was the hose.

If you're talking the rubber hoses to the dpfe, NAPA has em in a two pack for like $6. They're pretty nice and exactly what I have on my truck.

I thought my 2001 had a recall for the DPFE. Maybe you can still get it replaced for free
