Default P1400 but new dpfe sensor? Plz help

So im getting horrible gas mileage and my evap system is failing, it says i have pending p1400 code, i originally had p0401 so i replaced dpfe sensor and it went away but now.i have p400 and it says (dpfe low circut) or something, but the sensor is new so im not sure what else to try

Are you sure you put the hoses on the right ports on the sensor? Does either hose have a hole in it? Have you checked for a good ground on the harness?

Does your EGR valve operate (hold vacuum, open and close smoothly) as it should?

Still unsure why he won't use his skylardog username. I won't be helping someone trying to hide behind a username. Own up to your original mistakes and move on with life. You won't go far in life without accountability
