Default P0141 and P0442

So the check engine light came on so I hooked it up and came back with those codes. The P0141 I know is the O2 bank 1 sensor 2. So I'm assuming that just means replace it right?
And I know the 442 is an evap code. So I'm gonna start with replacing my gas cap.
Anyone else have this code that has Fix they know will work? Thanks

P0141 is a circuit malfunction which is just replace the sensor like you said. P0442 is a small leak which the first thing I would do is just make sure the cap is tight. If you want to replace it, go ahead but I rarely ever see a bad cap cause a light. It's usually loose. Clear the codes and drive it.

Already cleared them but I don't know my mechanic replaced a cap once and it took it away but it could be other things in the evap line maybe. But good to know just makin sure I don't do anything wrong
