Default couple of truck problems

maybe i suck at using the search button or im searching the wrong way, but i cant seem to find what im looking for.
2003 F150 s.crew lariat 4.6l v8

problem 1 auto lamps fuse/ program mode. ive search for a fix but cant diagnose what is actually causing it. the switch is good but the 5amp fuse keeps tripping. any ideas what could be causing the fuse to blow. i havent found much help

problem 2 over head console needs soldering need help, very little experience soldering and dont want to destroy the board or connector.

problem 3 cruise control cable/linkage needs replacement but i cant find it. i can find the v6 all day long but not the one i need

problem 4 abs light is on. ive had my mechanic look at it and diagnose it but when ran it there was no issues on the actual system. the problem was the module. during online research ive found that its has happened to many people and its a solder issue as well

1: You're gonna have to start at the switch and work your way back till you find a short using a multimeter. If you don't know how to do that, you may have to find someone who can or just dive in and do your best to learn....

2: Soldering the circuit board is very easy. Just get the soldering iron nice and hot, then touch the cracked solder joint until it melts and then let go. That should solve the problem without too much risk. If you break it, it doesn't work anyways... no harm, no foul right?

For the cruise control and ABS module, junk yard would be the best place to look for those parts if you can't find them anywhere else. I'm pretty sure though, the cable for the v6 is the same cable across the board. You could try your hand at fixing the ABS module, but if it were me, id just pull another one off a junked low miles f150 and call it a day. Maybe even try fixing the old one and keeping it as a spare if the "new" one ever fails.

Good luck man!

You'll want to use a narrow-tipped iron, and be sure you don't end up bridging any connections.
