I'd still like a 97/98 Chrome Bumper on my 01. :0)

The one thing that I find strange about most brush guards (And the one linked) is the Horizontal micro bars in front of each Headlight. My Brain housing group logic thinks that they should be vertical in order to stop the brush and tree limbs from contacting the Headlights.

I'm no high roller, but my wife and I have the mentality that we only live once. We get what we want for us and the kids as long as it doesn't affect us having a roof over our heads. I officiate football as well so that's where most of my spending money comes from.

Looking back at it, I guess this is going to mostly be for mounting LED pods/bars. I like the way the roof LED bar looks but I'm always concerned about drilling through my vehicles. The lower valence can hold a couple small pods and we have the bracing behind the grill by the hood latch that could hold a couple 12" - 14" bars. I've just never seen that in person.

Check out the01kingranch's thread on putting a curved 32" behind the grill. Here's mine
Also attached a few pics of mine with a brush guard. I like them over bull bars. I had two KCs mounted and was going to replace those with a few led bars but haven't put it back on since I put the curved bar on.

There's 5pics so if you're on the mobile app scroll over when viewing to see them all

How did you mount that behind the grill? You should have a brace that runs down the middle from the hood latch, right?

Yeah if you look at the01kingranchs thread on it he has details and explanations but in short, the curved 32" has just enough curve that it doesn't hit the center support so you don't have to notch it or cut it like guys who have a straight bar. Then I just bought longer bolts and bolted them to the horizontal brace
