Default Opinions Please - Brushguard vs Bull Bar

My truck is 2WD so this is really for looks but I'm torn. I like the look of both and Go Rhino has some clean looking product. I don't see too many Ford's in my area with them. I've attached a link to both and if anyone has pics of their own please share. Thanks!

I personally like the brush guard look. Just has that rugged, go anywhere, do any thing type of look.

Brushguards generally do more damage to your vehicle if you ever hit something of substantial size. I can like either one but I think the bull bar looks more decorative.

For my truck i think the option would be leave it stock, bull bar or ultimately an Iron Bull replacement bumper.

Appreciate the responses. Wolvee, I agree with the brushguard comment. Especially since I let me dad use my truck often. I'd end up putting a winch on it and I can see a tree trunk through my windshield now.

I'd go with the bull bar.

I think the bull bar is more clean looking, but I like my brush guard. I hit a deer at about 15 mph, the guard saved me a headlight lol. The down side is dipsticks at the parking lot think you won't mind if they hit your guard with their car because that's what it's meant for (yes I had one of those idiots at Cabelas).

Its really more functionality vs looks. After hitting a deer and massive bird in the last two months that completely toasted my front bumper and grille, I would say get the grille guard. But, I am biased now. haha

I think a bull bar looks like it belongs on an ATV instead of a full size truck JMO
