Default Opinions on Grille Change.

Here is my truck OEM. Have had it for gosh about 3 years now I believe.

cosmetically since then:
New tires
Removed Side Steps
weather guards on all windows

I just bought a honeycomb grill for 99-03 off the local yardsale site. All tabs are in place, no cracks. It was off a parted out F150 that was rear ended.

I can't decide on how I want to do this... so I am looking for opinions.

Surround White/Matte Black grill (Logo visible)
Surround White/Matte Black grill (Logo painted over)

Also it looked like the honey comb grill could be unclipped from the paintable surround. What would you think about the chrome surround with a matte black honeycomb.

I keep leaning towards a Matte Black over the shiny black. I don't plan to leave the factory headlights. Going to do some Lightning (unsure if chrome or black).

Basically, looking for suggestions or opinions. Help inspire me.

I would say paint the surround white front and back bumper and front bumper pad white and a black grill w/o logo painted. That will be the cleanest look IMO.

This^ tastefully removes the chrome and keeps it from looking like a work truck. The chrome grille surrounds just don't flow we'll with the front end at all.

This, but with black honeycomb, and a white bumper vs my chrome, unless you like the chrome bumper.

It just doesn't flow very well, it's all the color is abruptly ended when it hits the big chunk of chrome. The PTM surround ties in and flows with the body lines, and frames in the headlights and grille insert which gives you a more visually pleasing contrast.
