Was gonna drive my reg cab until i had enough to buy a screw. We'll my trucks totaled so time for payments haha. Which one??? The blue one has higher miles and a lift and looks nice and looks really clean. The grey one has less miles and dang i love the color. but it isnt lifted. i want a lifted truck but if im making payments buying a lift is out of the question. choices choices haha

I like the silver one more. IMO it looks cleaner and better taken care of, besides i think a truck with less modifications is a safer buy.

No doubt, the grey one. It looks better taken care of, it's more clean, sits perfect for 33's. It appears the blue one is gonna need tires soon. (pics are kind of fuzzy) A 3" body lift is cheap. As stated above a less modded truck is a safer bet IMO.

I would go grey for the miles and it looks better IMO and you can slowly save for a lift if you want to dip the wheels and slap 33's on it and have a better looking truck. For a grand more for getting half the miles. I did notice the gray is missing the 4x4 decal on the pass bed side so maybe get a carfax

I agree about the car fax. In the first picture it has one on the passenger side, but in the second one it looks like its gone... but the paint looks slightly off from the bed and the cab on the passenger side. Could just be the camera though.

None, to much money for both I think. If I had to pick I would go grey.

I like the grey one the best, but neither one for those prices. I know you can find better priced trucks, but probably not with the low miles that the grey one has. That is really low for the year. It would be my choice if I was to buy one of those two. I see 06-7's for those prices, up here in Alaska, so I wonder where you are with those prices. None seem lifted, but loaded up w/mostly full power and options. Of course there are higher priced trucks, but there are deals out there, which is what I found.

Monday last, I bought a 03 150 KR w/74k miles. Clean, like your grey one, only the slate blue with tan bottom, I gave $8700. I replaced the rear bumper (twisted) and had it detailed. I have $9260 total into it. I did find out that I don't like the leather seats. Too damn cold with -5 degree nights right now. Even with heated seats. But, the point is that there are deals are out there.

My neighbor bought an 08 Lariat 150 4dr in October and gave 18,300 for it. It booked for well over $26k. The guy threw in an almost new Lund shell too. That was over 2k new. Super nice truck. Super deal too.

I'll post the pics as soon as I clean my forum garage out. Good luck with your quest. I know you'll find a deal that you'll love.

I really want a truck with low miles. Not planning on upgrading from the truck i buy for a few years. I want a 97-03 model and really only want an 03 5.4 lariat or king ranch. I thought those prices were high but is that just how it has to be to get low miles?
And how many miles do these 5.4s go generally??

I'd go with the grey one. Ive always wanted a gray truck too so I might be biased. Also a lot safer to go with an un modified truck then u can make it whatever you want.

Our company had a 98 with 302,000 when it got wrecked. It was still running great at that time. I had an 01 that I sold with over 250k on the clock. Many of the guys on here are well over 200k. It seems the 5.4 goes about that before having usually a spark plug blowing out. Not a bad repair, but sometimes it can be a difficult problem. Depends on which cylinder it is on.

These are bulletproof engines basically. They have their quirks. Spark plug holes and COPs usually, but other than that, nothing big. Great power, decent mileage (compared to GM & especially Dodge). They started in 92 with the 4.6 and are getting better as they go.
