Default Oil sprayed everywhere/Misfire

I had a forum up few weeks ago, but no help so hoping this one may.
Parked my truck because I started it up and heard something kind of whiny/hose type squeal and drove down a road before I realized my oil level was below L so I turned around and there was oil everywheres in my driveway. (When i drove it, it didn't feel rough or anything)
Before all this I changed my oil a week prior, but my oil filter is on secure and my drain bolt on my pan is secure as well. I also have been driving on a misfire underload for some time now (assuming its just a coilpack problem being it only runs rough when around 1500-1800rpm) then goes back to normal.
Anyways, I can't find where it all came out from. Idk if an oil cap makes sense at all because it looks like a lot of oil around it? (Possibly the little rubber ring gasket???)
Idk any input other than being a complete d*ck would be nice. I'm 19 and learning so take it easy.
Also another thing to note is I drive a 2000 Scab 4.6L that has 105,000km on it (roughly 62,000 miles coverted).

Ps. Driving a corolla now because my life is a mess.

is the oil spray under the truck? If so was the rubber gasket on the old oil filter?

The oil pan is fine, no oil around there. The oil just sprayed everywheres under the hood and I lost it all in one start up.

Well not too good with these threads as I have to come online on my browser instead of the app so I don't get notifications and just caught up with ****.

Fordfan was referring to the filter gasket. Are you sure the gasket came off with the old filter when you changed the oil? A doubled filter gasket is a possibility however, it would likely start leaking immediately on the first startup after changing.

That's a problem creator right there. All the help in world won't work unless you physically do it for him.

Yeah, pretty obvious why his life is a "mess". No hope for this one, I give up.
