Hi guys so I recently moved to Kentucky, and once I got here a few things started to go down hill for my truck. One thing was the exhaust which has a pretty bad leak-broken stud on manifold and rusting pipes-but another thing I noticed and the purpose of this post is that I noticed that the valley of the block seemed to be wet and had some fluid in it. Its hard to get a good look at it but there doesn't seem to be a lot but I would like to know what to do about it. I've tried searching it and it came back with it could be the valve cover gaskets, head gasket, or intake manifold gasket from what I could find. I got some on a paper towel and it came back looking like oil not dirty coolant or anything-there's a line with coolant that is in the same location but don't think its coolant. The bolts on valve covers look like they're wet so maybe its those gaskets? I've added some pictures that might help. If you need me to provide more info or pics just let me know.

Valve cover gaskets are notorious for leaking. I would start there..

Default oil leak help

Does the stuff smell sweet or burnt? I could almost see the green around the edges on the first pic.

I guess you could say it has a sweet almost burning rubber kind of smell, is there any way to get a better idea without taking anything apart? -I checked the oil cap and it's all oil no white gunk and coolant seems ok and oil level is fine so I'm not sure

I would stuff some paper towels in the valley around the coolant line. It sounds rigged but I cant think of any other way to catch coolant before it mixes with all the crud.

Is there an easier way to do that besides the small opening in the front
