I always use the Motorcraft oil filter on my 4.6, if you've got a 4.8, then you have a chevy. lol

Anyone else notice Walmart says "Great for vehicles"? Thank goodness they mentioned that! I was going to use it in my aquarium.

I went with motorcraft oil and filter. How many miles is motorcraft good for before changing again? Thanks.

Owner's manual says change oil and filter every 5,000 miles under normal conditions and every 3,000 under special (towing, commercial use, dusty roads, off-roading) conditions.

Mobile 1 full synthetic with a Motorcraft filter. I use nothing but full synthetics on all four of my vehicles, two being motorcycles, one being fourty one years old.
