Offset?

Does anybody have any idea what a +1 offset would look like? A picture or a measurement of how far it will stick out/be in the fender well?

17x9 +1 offset, not the best pic but that's with 315s and they do not stick out a bit. I would get better pics for ya but my truck is 525 miles away.
