Also, does this truck tend to sit higher than other F150's? I seem to be taller than all of the Fords with the same body style, and I was only about an inch shorter than a newer Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4.

Yeah it's just a Supercrew thing mine's stock but sits higher than my friends stepside 4x4 02 and my dads stock hight F250 4x4. Idk what the deal is but it does

I did the Gotts mod last weekend, I didn't notice any changes.

The door trim is held on by double sided tape. I would definitely take the pin stripes off. I owned a 2001 Screw for a while, and I removed the pinstripes, but I left the "Lariat"

Here's my old truck, with the pinstripe:

Nice looking truck btw. Can't believe only 50k miles, my 01 had 128k on it. If you don't mind me asking, how much did u pay for it? Around here trucks like these go for $10k and up with over 100k miles

Thanks! The stripes are definitely getting removed after seeing your pic. I paid 12,500 for it. KBB is 15 so I felt I got a good deal. They gave me 1500 for my 99 Mazda B2500 with 130k and a clutch that was BARELY hanging on. It had some surface rust in 3 roof grooves, but I took care of that this weekend. The only other body rust I can find is where the bed side panels meet the rear panel behind the tail gate. I'll be taking care of this in the spring, and doing an undercoating.

Yeah the price sounds about right. I've seen them with over 100k miles for $9500-12000.

I am not a fan of the wheels though. They have to go. There's a set of fx4 wheels on CL for 225, but IDK if I want these or an aftermarket set.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of those wheels either. The FX4 wheels were the best looking stock wheel, and the king ranch wheels. A guy on my other forum (Bigun, used to be a member here) had those stock wheels that u have now, and he used vinyl to add some black to the wheels and it looked really good. heres a pic. Just giving you an idea if you don't want to spend any money right now. But If I were you, I'd just buy aftermarket wheels, instead of buying the FX4s. Or keep your current wheels and do something like Bigun did.
