Since I went back to chrome bumpers, I figured it was time to weld my chrome tips on.

I just got some M/T tires installed, it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Now I have to touch up the plasti-dip.

Ditched the M/T's for a set of Grabbers, removed the dip from my wheels and took my running boards off.

stumbled upon this post. great looking truck! definitely taking some notes.
I promised myself i would leave my truck alone, but from what i've seen i may have to do some none invasive modding.
I've always been a fan of the clean look and will probably be doing some lightning up this weekend ie. running boards and door molding.
Also painting the grill might not be a bad idea either.
oh well so much for just changing the oil and driving this truck till the wheels fall off.
Keep the ideas and pics coming!

Looks much better without the plasti-dip. I have the same wheels and personally think they are a good looking factory wheel.

Today I thought I would investigate the tick I've been hearing on the passenger side. I figured it was the manifold studs but when I took the fender liner off I found that they've already been replaced. This lead me to believe that it's got to be the collector leaking. I was able to turn the bottom bolt a turn or so and the top one turned a few times. I buttoned everything back up and the tick was still there. I drove the truck a few miles and from what I can tell, it got much quieter. I think I'm on the right track here and will try to tighten those collector bolts a bit more. Here are the aftermarket bolts, they've got allen heads on them.
