Anyone ever use this stuff for light scratches and or scuffs, an have an opinion how well it works?
Never mind, googled it, looks like a fail. |
I've been buffing out scuffs/scratches all weekend with Turtle Wax rubbing compound & Turtle Wax polishing compound. They're working pretty well.

It's a low grade mild abrasive. Much better products out there.

I use a 3 step process when removing scratches. First off you need a buffer/polisher with variable speed. Depending on how deep the scratches are I may start with a heavy cut abrasive compound with a heavy cut pad or for minor scratches such as swirl marks I will start with a medium cut compound with a medium pad then work my way up to a polish with a finishing pad.
Don't kid yourself thinking you can remove scratches by hand. You can however use a (miracle) product and fill them in. |
