Noise when accelerate

took The rear driveshaft off today and drove around in 4hi.
no noise, sounded good.
so that means it’s rear diff., right? Possibly the driveshaft/u-joints?
Has to be one of them. Am I correct in that thinking?

guess I don’t know how to upload a video either, if someone has any pointers on that as well.

Simple really, use You Tube and you can't go wrong. All you have to do is follow their prompts, they make it easy....dillweed proof.

Yep, upload to YouTube, then post the link. Sounds like you're on the right track. I'd replace the U-joints if they were soaking in water & mud. Also clean and lubricate the front yoke splines and receiving section before reinstalling. (Use only the correct Motorcraft grease.)
