Default No trailer hitch at all???

I was looking at my Uncle's truck and there is no hitch at all. This really surprises me because it's really well optioned. Its a 2001 SCrew XLT 4x4 with a limited slip, it has power everything and a sunroof. My only guess would be he took it off but i cant think of any reason he would do that.

I think your making fun of me but... It's Nice.

I was under the impression these trucks all came with a trailer hitch of some sort. Either part of the bumper or attached underneath it. I guess what Im asking is should a hitch of some sort be there?

It must not have the tow package... but it looks like there's a hole in the bumper to put a ball in

Read what you wrote in bold, then look where the bottom of the bungee is attached. Ta-da, place for a ball.

They didn't all come with a hitch, but it looks like that truck had the integrated bumper hitch.

My truck didn't come with one, the PO had a uhaul one put in

If you look under the bumper there's also two loops where a trailer hitch looks like it could be attached. To me it looks like it could've had either kind of hitch or none at all. My 2000 has a plasic cover in the middle of my rear bumper so my guess was that they added those covers to cover the hole.(Im guessing Im wrong on that bc of another poster said there's didn't have one) Since you obviously know everything, what are those two loops under the bumper for. Huh??

Thanks to everyone else for being considerate and helpful. I appreciate it.

I don't know everything. I would guess those two loops are for the chains when you use the bumper ball.

The loops are for safety chains.
