Back 30 years ago when I lived in western Pennsylvania I had a drain and water in my partially heated garage so I would hose down my vehicles to get the salt off when I came home from work. I would also use a paint brush to coat the inside of the door panels, wheel wells, and undercarriage with used motor oil. I normally did this two or three times during the winter. The oil really got into the welds of the car and prevented them from rusting. This worked well for me and my vehicles had little or no rust as a result.

Yea, it is in good shape.

He's had a for 5 months and has taken care of it but the previous owner/s had it for 9+ years...I think they deserve more of the credit.

My dad was the same way. Try as hard as I could I found myself doing things just like him. Finally figured out that all I every wanted was to be just like him.
