No power to Injectors
2 weeks ago, my mechanic replaced the ac dryer in my f150 ( 2001 F150, 5.4l Triton Bifuel (propane/gas). The propane fuel system has not been running in over 5+ years as all the gas lines leaked and needed to be replaced.
He removed some of these unused gas lines that were cluttering the engine bay.
Now the engine will not start anymore.
it will start when we squirt starter fluid in it.
We narrowed the issue to the fuel injectors having NO 12V with key ON.
it may be expecting propane gas input? while none is available.
or we inadvertently disconnected something and we lost 12V to injectors?
Desperately need wiring schematics to be able to trace down issues.
any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

Is your mechanic a family friend? Or an actual friend? Or is he a mechanic you paid that has a shop?
Just wondering why a mechanic would start ripping out parts, whether or not they work.

Regular neighborhood mechanic shop, (small operation)
all of the propane emission parts/ hoses are right in front of the dryer and needed to be remove for access.
lots of these hoses were dry and cracked.
But the truck ran fine, it was just a ac dryer that he was replacing.

Just for shiks and giggles check your crankshaft position sensor. Make sure wires are intact and connected properly. He may have f---ed that up pulling all the propane stuff.

Yeah, he had to have hit something, if they weren't useful or connected to anything that can cause problems then something happen, just gunna have to retrace the steps and look around the work area for the cause.

My thinking is that the truck computer thinks that we want to use propane so it is shutting of the regular fuel injectors??
I am looking for electrical schematics to diagnose this ??
ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH DUAL FUEL, PROPANE/REGULAR GAS

Before you were thinking did you check your crankshaft position sensor? Down by a.c. compressor. If unplugged the computer will not fire the injectors. Simple stuff first.
