It really isn't, also, you can always get a wireless remote if you're so inclined.

Think that plate will work with other brand of winches? Worst case is I have to drill my own holes. I can get a brand new Warn 9000# for $500.

Most if not all winches have the same mounting holes/location. Because warn set the standard and they all copied the desigjn
