Default New shocks

I have a 02 lariat supercrew 4wd the previous owner put rough country n2.0 shocks on it and I want to find a good replacement for those. Preferably not rough country, im interested in billsteins but cant find ones that will be the same length as the n2.0’s

Those came in different lengths. We would need to know how much lift the truck has on it.

I measured from the center of the wheel to the fender and it has a 2 inch lift in comparison to stock height

for the front you either have to go stock length or with the 5100 series if you want bilsteins.

Last week I went to the 4wd parts store and they also told me that but they said if I were to do the 5100 series I would have to do a whole 3-4 inch complete rough country lift with a cross member and a diff drop but they would do it with the billetin 5100s

I have not done it myself so I can't speak from experience, but I always get some second opinions when dealing with places like that. It benefits them to sell you as much as possible.

I had problems with Bilsteins, but those were 4600's.

Faired much better w/2.0's . Up to 2 inch lift. Drove/handled like new again.

I bought the 4600s also and returned them because they weren’t the same length as my RC shocks

Yes the 4600's are too short. Was going through bushings like crazy. They fit some stock height 150's but not the 98's as 97/98 models had the longer T bars. They could be cranked almost 2" w/o much ride suffering. The 98 was cranked 1.5". The factory 1" block on the rear axle was swapped out with a 2" BD block. Started out gonig for level but....settled for that and it roaded well.

The last pick was w/7700 calipers and Expy rotors, big brakes HD pins.
