Ok I saw on someone else's thread that when you use higher octane gas your truck runs better. Do I have that right? If your cats and 02s are intact and hooked up then your timing is off. I also saw where you did some timing components. So I'm thinking something isn't set to the right place. At this point I would go buy a new "y-pipe" from a junk yard and bolt it up with all 4 cats and see what happens.

on a side note I don't mind helping you figure it out but including complete information would go a long way in helping get this sorted. I honestly need to know what all has been done to your engine/exhaust and it's current state. Keeping it in this thread so we don't have to go trip over it will make finding a fix a possibility.

the issue is you don’t know what you are doing. This is supported by your posts and threads either that or you are just a troll. The solution go find a mechanic and hire them to fix everything you fd up.

SKYLAR......enough. Every site you are on or were on, has 86'd you. Same damn questions, AND YOU don't listen to anyone. So other than being a troll, what measurable traits do you possess? I'm totally surprised that some members are still trying to help you. Most have said they wouldn't pee on you if you were on fire. I have to agree. You need to be Purged on this site also. You are one of the reasons others don't get help all the time.

You have never listened even once to what anyone has told you. Why should anyone try and help you? You just argue with them. Okay, I'm done with my rant.

You don't deserve to own a Ford. Fiat sounds more to your tastes.

Here's the shortened and condensed format we've grown accustomed to, Skylar. This is how we see it, and why you don't get a lot of help...

My truck is doing _____________________________________________ and I don't know what to do

What kind of truck are we working on?

I figured everyone already knew what it was, stop wasting my time.

Do you have any codes?

Not any but these _____, ______, ______, _______, ______, _______

Did you try ______________________?

No, but I removed (insert name of necessary component to make truck run properly) so that's probably why it has codes, please stop wasting my time and help me fix my truck.

Why did you remove _____________________________?

Don't worry about it, can anyone else help me fix my truck? This guy doesn't know what he is talking about.

Well, good luck, askhole

I guess I'm just going to sell my truck, not one person on here knows what they are talking about.

ANNNNNNNDDDDDD.... you come back with a new username, and the record starts over.

Either you don't give a crap what anybody tells you, or you are a masochist.

thanks, yeah we redone the timing guides, tensioners, chan. And the gear, made sure it was in time, new motorcraft IAC new TPS new coils and plugs, fuel filter is about 8 months old, i have to put about 4quarts of oil in it a week, idk where the hell all of it goes, ive done the gotta mod, cleanes the theottle body as much as i could, i have a new dpfe sensor, and new o2 sensors, and the problem im having is for example when im in a parking lot looking for a place to park, going avout 5-10 mph, the idle will surge up and down repeatedly from about 300, then jump to 600, and repeat that process till i tap the gas, or everytime i come to a stop, or especially when i turn the wheel slowly. The idle will drop to around 350-450, and when im conpletely stopped in gear, the idle stays right at 500-550 and makes the truck shake a bit

So when was the last time that truck ran right, can you answer honestly ? Since no one in their right mind would purchase a truck that ran this way. What happened. Try to true it now.

Didn't think you would answer that one. If it's indeed sucking THAT much oil would mean the lower intake is full of oil, it'll hold a couple quarts. Running with the intake full of oil will create suction, an incredible amount of it. In turn, the engine will fight against itself to run. I've asked you to take pictures of the top of the engine, so we could get a look at your connections, and you refuse. You choose to throw more parts at it instead. You don't follow through.

Good luck, but I think you finally cooked it.

4 qts of oil...a week......

Unless you drive it 10,000+ miles a week, theres a problem there....

Seems like you should mention that before...

Either your a troll, or really clueless, or both
