I just bought an 2003 F150 XL. It's my first truck and first car. Im looking to put in a new exhaust and intake, but I'm not looking for anything ridiculously expensive. Any suggestions for either the exhaust or intake?

Forgot to add that it's a 4.2L V6 engine.

i have an 02 4.2l xl, i have a K&N 77 series cold air intake and a flow,aster super 44 muffler coming out the side in front of the wheel, and i have 265,75,16 bfg all terrains. the tires really make the truck look better the bigger they are they give it a better stance and fill the wheel well and really help when u get off road cause the stock tires suuuuck a dick. the K&N intake makes it have a lower sound when accelerating and makes the exhaust sound a lil diff due to better airflow and u can feel a little better acceleration but nothin to go crazy over. and the flowmaster muffler makes it have a lower rumble exhaust it osund best when u put the muffler on right after the Y and then just dump it down towrds the ground i have min eout the side and putting more pipe on it made it quieter but when u get on it it still is better than stock for sure. Air intake is 300 bucks, flowmaster muffler is 90 bucks and my tires where 530 but they are treadwrights not actually bfg but they look and rie just like em and them mother****ers will throw one hell of a rooster tail when u get in the mud. i got pics and a vid of my exhaust if u want but the vid isnt the greatest quality and like i said its quieter cause its out the side now
