I wouldn't trust those tow hook mounts. You had access to a welder yet bolted the mounts on?

The hooks are bolted to the frame. Its all connected. The hooks aren't going anywhere.

Hate to tell you but those bolts will snap. Dont care how strong you think they are.

I agree it is too square, and those bolts will snap. It's a good start I'd take it off, cut a dip for the bottom of the grill, and cut the bottom off a few inches and make the bottom tuck under almost like a skid plate like a road armor

I applaud your efforts, just finish it, for now it looks like it belongs on a square truck much like the one I built in an hour for a Chevy luv and yes it is a flatbed diesel lol

I wish I had more pics, that's the only surviving one because it was on my old phone, but it had a 2.2 Isuzu diesel. Got around 35+ mpg of course it went down when I turned up the injection pump

Bumper was solid on that puppy as well as the bed
