Default need some paint help here

ok well iv been working all winter on my 1998 f150 the cab corners and rockers are done. my doors were shot as was the box and tailgate soo doors,box,tailgate and rockers dont match anymore. iv only gotten one quote but it seemed real steep soo what do all you guys think the going rate for a paint job is i just want the same stock colors.. thanks

How nice do you want it to be? Who did your body work? If it was you, why not continue? It's really not that hard to get a pretty decent job doing it yourself. I've done outdoor paint jobs that turned out pretty good. Just wetsand the bugs out.

I was quoted for $3,500 on my truck,they quoted me $2,000-$3,000 over the phone then $3,500 in person.

it was done by a local shop. i had a painter lined up and i seen a car he pained and it turned out very bad. and the shop that did my rockers is wanting 3700 for paint i just felt it was high its never going to be perfect but i would like it to be better then a maco job

That's general ballpark about what it is to paint a truck like this. Going to a single color vs your two tone will knock a bit off that price as it will require less material and labor masking it.
