Default Need some Advice changing tensor pulley & idle pulley

Hey guys, I hear like a bad bearing but I wasn't sure if it is the tensor or the idle pulley, so I got both of them and see which it is, my question is are the bolts left thread on both of them or just standard right thread bolt? thanks for your sooner reply since I want to start doing it now.

Ok guys never mind, I just finished, they are the right thread, it was really easy, I did replace the idle pulley and on the tensor pulley I just change the bearing and pulley and leave the original tensor, it was ok.

Thanks,

IBM

Thanks IBM for the response to your own question, I'm sure it will answer someones question in the future. 99% of the time, the RH thread is the standard, there are exceptions usually dealing with operation of the device. If something is being driven in a counterclockwiose (left) direction, a LH thread will be used. As an example, yesterday I had to repair a hedge trimmer. The engine rotates left as viewed from atop as you are trimming the hedge, well the centrifugal clutch bolt and the drum it engages are LH threads to their attachment. So if the trimmer jambs, the clutch bolt and drum will be tightened further instead of unscrewing. Clear as MUD?
