Question Need A Solution!

I have a 98 F150 XLT ext. cab with 4.6 v8 and auto trans. I was getting codes for misfires on cylinders 2 and 7, replaced the plugs and those went away. Now im getting codes saying cylinder 1 misfire and Shift Solenoid a stuck on (p0752 and p0301) Also, i replaced an o2 sensor last week and now its pulling that up again as faulty (p0161). Any ideas on what the culprit is here? Symptoms are : rough idle, slugish, terrible mpg, studder

Appreciate any help

PO301 ... replace the plug or COP... and PO161 replace the shift solenoid and what O2 sensor did you replace before ?

That would be the PO301 DTC... you can swap a COP from a known good cylinder and see if the code follows before you spend the money on a new one... mite just be the plug...you don’t mention any mileage or maintenance history on your truck...
