Looks good. I'd be running 315/70/17 so I can get a good idea by looking at yours. Did you regear or run stock gears? Notice power change or anything like that?

I'm still on stock gears. I plan on changing them out soon though, when i get my tax return I'm going to swap gears and the 8.8 out for a 9.75. Its hard for me to say exactly how bad it was; shortly after I put the lift in, I blew the 4.6 and swapped a 5.4 in its place. Saying that a Still feel it needs lower gears, I haven't used overdrive in over a year. Even at interstate speeds it idles down the road at like 1200 rpm with the torque converter locked if its in overdrive, so it is like impossible to pass anyone in overdrive.

My least favorite part of the lift was the axle wrap that resulted from the 4" blocks, but that's with any lift that uses blocks in the back. I have since replaced the blocks with 5" lift leafs from skyjacker.

Might be a dumb question but what is axle wrap?

Axle wrap is when your axle rotates under acceleration. It leads to things such as u-joints binding and wheel hop, which you don't want. The large blocks Increase the leverage your axle has on your leaf springs, which is why they can no longer hold the axle in place under acceleration.

How much do the leafs springs go for? Is a leaf spring something i should Def get with the kit even if it's only 4 or 5"?

If I remember right the lift leafs cost me around $600. you can definitely run without them, I ran mine for 2 years before I upgraded my leafs. It depends largely on your driving style. If you like to put the hammer down you might run into issues. Like before i put my new leafs in if I romped on it I could feel a U-joint binding up. It was just something I got sick of and didn't want to live with anymore.

Mine will mostly be a highway queen/ second vehicle. It will see minor trails during hunting season and whenever the right song comes on ha. I'll prob pass on them since they are that much. But I'm considering ordering a steering stabilizer with my lift in a few weeks.
